I found a myself cute ceramic cup!

I received the ceramics I ordered last week from a second hand shop called Carousell. The urge was just to buy a cup because all I have here in my small apartment is a wine glass from my last year’s birthday. My friends and I bought it in a mall for my birthday dinner out of town. It was a set of three but I broke two months ago. I used it to drink water, coffee, soda, tea and all liquids really. Maybe I’m too broke to buy a real glass. Another reason was, up until recently I could not seem to figure our what type of drinking glass I should buy. In the past months, I broke too many glasses I own. My tumbler made of glass – which was my companion for almost five years, the pretty vintage vase I bought second hand, the porcelain jewelry trinket box, and a few more I cannot remember now. For a time, I was afraid of anything made of glass. So I was trying to find my aesthetic for awhile. All I know was I don’t like tacky colorful plastic stuff. I told myself, until I am sure what kind of style I want, I won’t going to buy a cup.

Actually, until now I could not still decide what is my aesthetic. My taste vary everyday. One day I like zen, minimalistic things and the next day it’s the hippie floral stuff and somewhere in between I like wooden practical things, for sure it’s not as breakable as glass! Well, if I wait until I am really sure, I’ll be living my whole life using the wine glass or none at all.

I think I have to accept that I’m interested in a large range of things. So I figured I will only buy things I am in love with. They say: “If it’s not a “hell, yes!” it’s a no“.

So I bought this ceramic cup that I fell in love with. From the look of it, it was made by an artisan, it has a sign at the bottom “Bella Casa by Ganz” I tried to look it up, it seems it’s very famous in the cottage core department but I could not find anything related to the maker. Well, it does look dainty and seems a good quality for a cheap price. Although that is not the only thing I bought because I found a lot of cute stuff in that particular seller’s store, I also bought some other cute ceramics with it.

I think I am done with ceramics for a while now.
